This tool is really useful for students studying the value of our ecosystems as the timelapse shows changes to the environment over time. The interactive timelines, which show how habitats have changed due to things like urban growth, bushfires or deforestation, bring to life concerns that a textbook alone would not allow. Tools like this are used by professionals, offering students real-world opportunities to engage with the work of a scientist.
