I like that the speaker Will was straightforward and thorough with explaining different mic options and how to apply different techniques  to help the recording process. It interested me that Will demonstrated the muff or "dead cat" showing that the usual use is for wind noise reduction but it may be used for reducing noise in certain vocal overtones.

Recently, Twitter got a complete revamp that changed things drastically. Interestingly, it didn’t pump the social network with more and more features.

Ryan Sarver, Twitter’s head of API, explained it crisply: “In a world where Facebook and Google are competing on features, Twitter wants to focus on being simple.”

Hey Martin,
Thanks for this one today. I was just noticing usually there is no share for you to Wordpress. Perhaps you should connect to IB and auto share some of this, you know if you want to, otherwise it would still be great to occasionally have something from you I can share on IB if you manually post it. Traffic is way up so that is good. So tonight is the big night. Happy New Year

I have a little catching up to do. There are still some tech things to sort out but I will get it done. I look forward to collaborating, learning and sharing with you this year Martin.

7 Tips To Maximize Shares of Your Facebook Posts

7 Tips To Maximize Shares of Your Facebook Posts | Machinimania | Scoop.it

Facebook recently changed the way users interact with content on fan pages: any user, including non-fans, can now post on fan page walls and like/comment/share fan page content. In other words, a Facebook user does not have to first like your fan page before they can interact with your content. This is a good thing!

Since this change, the emphasis has shifted slightly from gaining more likes (fans) to increasing the number of shares on each piece of content. When you craft your fan page updates in a manner that naturally inspires fans and their friends and visitors to your page to share with their networks, you set in motion ripples of viral visibility. Basically, free additional exposure...
