3D printing is a strand of technological advancement that rarely hits mainstream information channels - perhaps there are more important things to consider. If you have any interest in the future and sciense you should see this. See how a man make glass bovl and other stuff with only the sun and the sand in the desert as resourses. It's amazing. Its the idea that is the point here, not the glass bovl - but the idea off making things only with the resourses like sun and sand. :-) @safegaard

I can not express enough at how much I love steampunk. it amazes me that someone can do this art digitally. the detail is astounding.

Steampunk is an art genre I have recently been fascinated by as the style of art reminds of two things - Final Fantasy IX and the Japanese animation Grenadier. Both heavy influenced by steam powered robots, mechanical infrastructural and outstanding landscapes. (Outstanding steampunk inspiration 1 http://dld.bz/FekT)

Very beutifull work - he must really be a big fan, - imagine, rendering time over 1000 hours. Somebody should tell him about iClone ;-) @safegaard

(PhysOrg.com) -- In a feat of technical wizardry combined with several doses of panache, Hitachi has demoed a 3D projector that can project images onto real-world objects in stunning fashion. Amazing what they invent. Maybe this is a step into a new future of 3d. @safegaard
