This is a great video which shows practical ideas for teachers as to how they can differentiate during a literacy block. This is worth watching again and again throughout the year to strive to incorporate into any classroom.

Jordan, I always appreciate it when I am connected with resources. The more resources I find, the better I feel that I have options for reaching students where they are at. I will continue to reference these resources! Do you have any thoughts about why the project based program did not work in your school? I wonder if it was not fully supported by teachers and parents, which could make it a harder sell to students if it is not believed in by others.

There are many misconceptions in education about what something is and isn't. This also applies to parents as well. Dispelling myths and misunderstandings is a great way to elevate best practices and make learning inside and outside the classroom more fulfilling.
