Goal Setting: Place what it is you want to accomplish across the bridge. Then divide the crosswalk twice. You have your side of the bank, one stop on walkway, second stop on walkway and the other side where the other bank is. First stop at your side of the bank: develop your idea silently while looking into the water. Let the water help you by watching the calmness by the bank. Look into it and free your mind of all things that do not help you focus. Let the water take it! Get rid of the shoulds, and don't worry about what your friends and family may say good or bad because this is your creation. If you have any anxiety at all imagine you sitting in the water and as it slowly meanders over you it removes by washing away that nervousness. Let it ripple away that anxiety and carry it down stream. Just washing it away! Now start thinking of what it is you need to make your idea come into being. Make a list of the various aspects or parts that you need to organize that fit into the subject. For example: Subject - Baking a Cake. Ingredients - flour. eggs, oil, baking powder, salt, cake pans and oven, electric etc. Make a list of the stores or companies you have to contact to purchase the ingredients. By all means call more than one and comparative shop. Check your budget to make sure where ever you go you can make the purchase of all the list items. Good job Organizing all that! Next stop: Oh you are now toward the middle of the bridge. Almost half way! Think of going to get the ingredients. See yourself purchasing the items and remind yourself - I have plenty of money to make purchases. I am safely driving to get the items. I am safe from harm at all times. If you still feel nervous return to the calmness of the water - Imagine it flowing over you and removing your worries and anxieties that you may have going to get these things. See yourself collecting them. And see you have all your ingredients. Now as you walk along you stop past the midway point. Go ahead preheat your oven. Feel the heat of the oven. See all your ingredients match your list. If you have forgotten something it is ok just go back out and get it. All is ok. You are safe. See yourself mixing the ingredients together. Feel how smooth it is as you dip your finger into it. Taste the sweetness. Pre-treat your pan. Watch the batter flow into the pan as you pour it in. Smell the aroma wafting up to your nose. Put it in the oven. Realize your subject is coming into being. You can smell the cake baking! Ummm good smelling too! When it is done baking pull it out of the oven let it cool and decorate it! Now that you have made the cake - walk to the other bank. All of a sudden your family and friends are there! They are cheering you on and smiling as you present the cake to them! Feel how good you feel to have accomplished your goal! Taste the cake! Notice how it feels in your mouth! See how good it is! Feel all the love and support of your friends and family! Feels good to give something away with love too does it not? Now look back to the other side. Say Wow! I have accomplished something new! I knew I could as long as I focused on each step! I worked through my anxiety. I trusted myself. I trusted the water to help! I thank the water of the river for its help! It was a hard journey. I feel so good! There is so much love! I am happy! I trusted myself! Thank you Creator for my Life!
