Albrecht Dürer, six pillows
Lindsey Davis's insight:

A Different Game of Thrones in a Hip-Hop, Gangsta Era | Gods of Art

A Different Game of Thrones in a Hip-Hop, Gangsta Era | Gods of Art | Best of Design Art, Inspirational Ideas for Designers and The Rest of Us | Scoop.it

Game of Thrones is without doubt one of the most interesting shows of the decade. With millions of fans worldwide, the series based on the novels of George R.R. Martin inspired many people to create amazing art. One of them is digital artist Mike Wrobel, a really talented designer who decided to recreate the universe of Westeros in a unique and really creative way!

The artist started from a simple question: How would Game of Thrones look like if the action would be set in a contemporary period such as the 80s or 90s? What if the swords, bows, spears and armors would be replaced with NES guns, bats and tracksuits? So he started reimagining all the characters fighting for the throne in a gangsta, hip-hop era. And the result is amazing.
